2018 General Education Scholarship
Prize — $500
The personal injury law firm of Duffield, Lovejoy & Boggs, Attorneys at Law, will be providing a scholarship of $500 to a class of 2018 high school graduate or college graduates entering their first year of law school. The goal of this scholarship is to help ease the financial commitment for one postsecondary education-seeking student. This $500 scholarship can be utilized for supplies, books and a variety of other college-related expenses.
To apply for this scholarship, please provide a 500-word minimum essay discussing one of the topics listed below. Our law firm will carefully evaluate each submission, and we will select the most persuasive and impressive entry as our winner. After completing your essay, please fill out the indicated fields in the form below.
Essay Topics:
1) Describe the biggest mistake you’ve made. What impact did it have on your life and how did you learn from it?
2) Which is more important in your opinion, what you know or who you know? Please provide and explanation as to why.
3) You get to make one college program mandatory for all students, what do you chose and why?
Deadline and Submission Info:
Completed applications must be submitted by July 15, 2018. A winner will be selected by August 15, 2018.
